About the role

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC. This is an individual contributor role that drives moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week, but the position must appear in person to the listed work address. Some travel may be required.

  • Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with the technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing or potential client needs while leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Drive projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and development.

  • Writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning

  • JavaScript Frameworks (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI, Knockout JS, or Angular JS)
  • Azure

  • Unit test frameworks (XUnit, NUnit, or MSTest)
  • Agile experience
