Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Develop engaging user interfaces with ReactJS for user-centric experiences
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL
- Implement unit and integration tests using Pytest and Vitest, applying TDD principles
- Participate in architectural discussions and evaluate design patterns for cloud-native applications
- Deploy and troubleshoot applications in GCP environments, understanding multi-cloud principles
- Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack or backend software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Python, specifically using FastAPI
- Strong experience with ReactJS for frontend development
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including design and optimization
- Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest and Vitest
- Practical experience with cloud platforms, primarily GCP; familiarity with AWS is a plus
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle principles, including agile methodologies
