Responsibilities
- Obtain keys for the Count Room from the Cage and Hotel Front Desk.
- Return keys at the end of the shift to the Cage and Hotel Front Desk.
- Notify Surveillance when the count is going to commence.
- Supervise and participate in the Count Room function, ensuring the integrity of the count and compliance with Gaming Regulations.
- Compare final count totals with computer input totals. Upon agreement, turn monies over to the Cage for a final blind count.
- Generate Table Games reports for the gaming day and check off the documents from each drop box against those reports.
- Turn in reports and paperwork to Casino Accounting in a timely manner.
- Record counts from kiosk drop on the balance sheets.
- Establish a good rapport with the Cage Supervisors, Slot Supervisors, Slot Shift Supervisors, and Casino Shift Managers in an effort to address problems as they arise.
- Ensure that the inventory of supplies is adequate and that all machinery is in good working order.
- Must be flexible with their work schedule.
- Continuous knowledge of Gaming Minimum Internal Control Standards as they relate to the drop and count.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment when handling money and ensure accuracy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
- Basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to complete standard forms and reports.
- Ability to use 10 key calculator.
- Ability to learn and be proficient in Bally’s CMP and SDS programs.
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
