About the role
The Social Media Lead is responsible for creating and coordinating compelling short-form content in The Gleamery's studios. This role requires capturing content, planning, and managing a content calendar for various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- In-Studio Content Creation (2–3x/week): Capture short-form content, film team spotlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and trends.
- Content Planning & Coordination: Work with studio managers, hygienists, and dentists to source weekly ideas and coordinate scheduling.
- Content Calendar & Upload Management: Maintain and execute a weekly posting calendar, write on-brand captions, and optimize posts for different platforms.
- Weekly Reporting: Provide key performance insights to the VP of Marketing and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Create or edit short-form video in your free time.
- Use CapCut, Adobe Express, or TikTok editing tools.
- Direct others on-camera and make them feel comfortable.
- Balanced creative POV with brand standards.
- Self-driven, fast-moving, and able to make things happen without constant supervision.
- Deeply online and aware of trending content.
Qualifications
- Experience in wellness, beauty, hospitality, or dental/health content is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Later, or similar planning/scheduling tools.
- A personal TikTok or Instagram account showcasing your content work.
