Job Responsibilities

• Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks
• Responsible for accomplishing department objectives, training, organizing and motivating staff of different skill levels
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff which includes coaching, counseling and discipline
• Recognize skill and ability of your staff and delegate appropriately
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed
• Ability to complete assigned tasks while unsupervised

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Able to work outdoors in alpine environments
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Pay

The expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
