Lead Site Reliability Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will focus on strengthening the reliability, resilience, and operational stability of critical production systems in a healthcare environment. You will lead technical response efforts during high-severity incidents, guide root cause analysis, and help drive effective restoration of services. The position also partners closely with engineering and business stakeholders to improve application performance, testing discipline, and release readiness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Maintain, integrate, and implement software applications
• Coordinate software application testing and quality assurance
• Ensure smooth implementation of new software and updates
• Establish and maintain controls over test and production systems
• Advise executives on functional strategies and significant matters
• Exercise independent judgment on complex issues
• Drive technical teams toward resolution during critical outages

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in IT, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• 2+ years of project or technical lead experience
• Proven ability to lead high-severity incident and service restoration calls
• Strong verbal communication skills, especially under pressure
• Experience in root cause analysis in multi-system production environments
• Familiarity with generative and agentic AI tools

Pay

$117,600 – $161,700 annually
