About the Opportunity:The LEAD SECURITY RISK ASSESSMENT ANALYST role is responsible for conducting comprehensive information security risk assessments on external parties to ensure risks remain within acceptable limits. This position guides stakeholders on risk mitigation, enforces security policies, and supports the organization's secure adoption of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The role is critical in maintaining the integrity and compliance of the organization's third-party relationships. Responsibilities:Perform detailed risk assessments of external party information security controls.Determine risk profiles using questionnaires and policy knowledge.Recommend and communicate mitigation plans to external and internal stakeholders.Escalate risks and exceptions with a solution-focused approach.Assist in developing and enforcing security standards and procedures.Stay informed about information security trends and legislation.Communicate complex risk concepts appropriately across audiences.Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.Exercise judgment and organizational awareness in communications.Respond timely to external requests regarding information security practices.Report engagement status to management and stakeholders.Develop and analyze metrics to assess program effectiveness.Document assessments in the organization's IT governance platform.Evaluate security risks of third-party AI solutions and advise accordingly.Maintain knowledge of AI trends and related security risks. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT Audit, Information Security, Information Risk Management, or related field, or at least 4 years of relevant work experience.Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Security, IT Audit, or Information Risk Management aligned with role responsibilities.At least 2 years’ experience in Artificial Intelligence relevant to the position.CompTIA Security+ certification or higher preferred. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range for this position is $120,375 to $192,600, with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range, varying based on experience, education, location, and qualifications.
