Lead Security Officer (Security Guard)

About the role

A Lead Security Guard contributes to AHF by being responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of its staff, tenants, contractors, guests and visitors at AHF’s sites, including Healthy Housing (HHF) properties.

Responsibilities

• Leverage security training to implement strategies that protect personnel and assets (including inventory of donations).
• Coordinate and oversee the in-house Security Guards Team.
• Ensure policies and procedures are in place to achieve the mission of protecting AHF’s personnel and assets.
• Be friendly, professional, and disciplined in the performance of duties.
• Recognize and respond to potentially dangerous situations in the safest and most effective manner.
• Advocate for AHF’s top initiatives.
• Ensure AHF Core Values and Mission are top of mind with all duties performed.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain working relationships with Healthy Housing operational staff.
• Utilize the Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports regarding events and situations.
• Adapt to various situations and be flexible to add consistent value to AHF/HHF.

Qualifications

Must have a valid California Security Guard Card.

Skills
