Lead Security Officer

Position: Lead Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Conduct regular patrols
• Monitor activities
• Surveillance
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent EKG Security brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures

Requirements

• You will be the first to meet with the public, tenants, and their guests so the first impression of our company depends on your friendliness and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide customers with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests.
• You will be responsible for monitoring who comes in and out of the premises.
• The goal is to contribute to an overall pleasant customer experience and safe environment.

Skills/Abilities

• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
• CPR Certified preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Honesty and Integrity
• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to obtain a Georgia State Unarmed Security Guard License
• Able to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
