Lead Scientist Obesity Disease/Adipocyte Biology; Biopharma

Responsibilities

• Role will be lab benchwork
• Office work as an obesity/adipocyte expert
• Building assays to support studies
• Documentation according to good laboratory practices (GLP)
• Overseeing the lab and the work of the associates

Requirements

• MS or PhD plus 5+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience
• Has led or significantly contributed to a drug discovery program
• Deep expertise in adipocyte cell culture
• Obesity biology
• Mammalian Cells, NOT bacterial
• Complex Primary Cell Culture
• Microscopy (Columbus/Opera phenix)
• Cell Staining, IPSC, Western Blots, ELISAs, HTRFs, Absorbance Readouts, qPCR
• Diverse technical skills
• GLP experience in small to mid-size biotech or pharma company

• Nice To Have: Program progressed to clinic
