Core Responsibilities
- Lead complex analyses to assess radio frequency (RF) compatibility amongst systems
- Author and present technical assessments, recommendations, and executive-level briefings regarding interference risks, mitigation strategies, and spectrum coordination outcomes
- Lead development and integration of interference modeling and data analysis capabilities
- Serve as a technical representative in domestic and international spectrum management organizations, leading coordination efforts and presenting technical studies on behalf of the customer
- Provide technical oversight for spectrum requirements, orbital characteristics databases, and analytical methodologies used in spectrum planning activities
- Lead development of spectrum architecture development and strategic planning to facilitate spectrum sharing amongst a diverse array of users
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- Experience: 10-15+ years in a relevant industry or projects
Work Authorization
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of satellite communications systems, orbital dynamics, and space network architectures
- Demonstrated experience performing RF compatibility, spectrum-sharing, and interference assessments involving space-based and terrestrial communication systems
- Working knowledge of domestic and international RF spectrum regulations and recommendations pertaining to RF communications, navigation, and active and passive remote sensing
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, including articulating and presenting technical topics in a clear and concise manner to peers as well as executive level customer audiences
