Lead SAP PP/QM Consultant

About the role

As a Lead Consultant, you will engage with business and functional teams to deliver best-fit technical solutions aligned with client and Infosys development standards. You will facilitate knowledge transfer and provide value-adding consulting solutions that help clients adapt to evolving global needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
• May require travel to project/client locations.
• Role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by the US Department of Defense (DoD). Eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Responsible for aligning SAP systems with business needs, providing end-user support, and managing enhancement tasks.
• Supports procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing business units; may be based at client locations.
• Collaborates with business users to interpret and refine requirements; translates business needs into SAP designs and specifications using industry trends and SAP best practices.
• Leads or contributes to projects in roles such as project manager, business analyst, technical lead, or individual contributor.
• Supports all testing phases, including test case creation, data management, and resolving findings.
• Leads or assists with training and documentation related to project work.
• Coordinates across multiple technical teams and provides Level 3 production support for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Performs analysis and provides task estimates for upcoming work; applies lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement, and product design.
• Communicates effectively with both technical teams (onshore and offshore) and non-technical business users at all levels.
• Experience with SAP PP Module ECC 6.0/S4HANA.
• Strong business, technical, and communication skills required to resolve business challenges and align technical solutions.
• Role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods; ability to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face; travel may be required as per job requirements.

Pay

• Estimated annual compensation range:
  • In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, MA: $94,000 to $131,600
  • In Washington, DC: $85,700 to $124,600
