Lead Sanitation Technician - 3rd shift

About the role

The Lead Sanitation Technician position is to assist in managing a crew of specially trained Team Members and/or contracted workers to efficiently clean and sanitize all areas of the facility. This must be accomplished daily while maintaining a safe work environment. This position may have additional duties when needed to complete extra tasks when short staffed.

Responsibilities

• Training of the established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and Production Standard Operating Procedures to all Team Members and contract labor workers
• Ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, and HACCP program requirements are followed by all Team Members and contract labor
• Making sure that all production areas are ready for pre‑operational inspection by Quality Control
• Recording all required shift documentation and inventories of chemicals and supplies
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Ability to complete additional training through seminars, schooling, and online courses
• Prior experience in sanitation is required

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other Food Safety Programs

Skills

• Good human relation skills
• Above average knowledge of sanitation chemicals and equipment usage in dry/wet environments
