Job Summary

The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that operates thrift stores to fund its Adult Rehabilitation Centers and provide affordable shopping options. The Lead Sales Associate position at the Broad Ripple location is responsible for managing sales operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales operations, including inventory management and customer service
• Train and supervise team members to ensure they are meeting performance goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of retail sales experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Experience with point-of-sale systems

Schedule

38 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
