The role involves managing a fitness studio, overseeing daily operations, and providing customer service. It also includes onboarding new employees and offering training.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the studio, ensuring everything is clean and organized.
- Reviewing and discussing the day’s appointments and goals with the team.
- Offering coaching and support to team members as needed.
- Assisting with onboarding and training new Sales Associates.
- Leading by example and stepping in to solve problems when necessary.
- Celebrating team wins and preparing for the next day’s activities.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused role.
- Prior experience supervising or supporting a team.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for health, fitness, or wellness.
Qualifications
- A personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF.
- A license in therapeutic massage or another accredited body work.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
- Team leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of stretching methodologies and the ability to work with the stretch reflex.
- Understanding of postural and movement limitations and how to correct or mitigate them.
