Lead Sales Agent - Reservations

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Aid in maximizing hotel occupancy by using specific selling strategies to convert incoming calls into bookings.
  • Guide guests in finding the best accommodations for their stay.
  • Assist in setting and meeting sales goals.
  • Learn about and utilize Navis to generate new business.
  • Send emails to guests providing information on the resort and assist with future guests' requests.
  • Book packages for guests and rooms for group travelers.
  • Input detailed computer data.
  • Proofread outgoing confirmations.
  • Answer telephones, close sales on new reservations, make changes to existing reservations, and handle customer inquiries.
  • Sell hotel gift certificates, transportation reservations, dining, golf, and spa services.
  • Maintain sales goals and adhere to Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Represent the Broadmoor brand and uphold Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond standards.
  • Use the website to maximize sales and effectively communicate with guests.
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience working in luxury resort reservations department preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Ability to uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.
