Lead Safety/Security Worker - Treasure Island

About the role

The Security Safety Worker at our Job Corps programs is responsible for protecting the company's property, employees, guests, and visitors. This includes patrolling and monitoring activities, evicting trespassers, controlling entry and departure, and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor activities to deter criminal activity and maintain a safe environment.
• Evict trespassers and detain perpetrators according to legal protocols.
• Control access to the premises and communicate using two-way radios.
• Investigate and resolve inquiries, problems, and issues.
• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma is required.
• Previous experience in a related field is preferred.
• Training and understanding of Trauma Informed Care.
• Experience working with the unsheltered population.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
• Flexible work schedule and ability to travel.
