Seeking a Lead Registered Respiratory Therapist to support a dedicated respiratory care team in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Include Supervising shift activities and acting as a clinical expert during assigned shifts.Managing staffing, patient assignments, and resource support.Supporting preceptor tasks and ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.Serving as a role model to promote an efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment. Qualifications Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.Minimum of two years clinical respiratory care experience.Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.Proficient in adult ICU and NICU settings; ability to quickly develop NICU skills if limited experience.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC and valid licensure in Georgia. Skills And Key Duties Include Providing patient-centered care across various units, including ICU, NICU, and outpatient labs.Managing respiratory equipment such as vents and CPAP machines, assisting with bronchoscopy, and performing inpatient and outpatient pulmonary function tests.Participating in professional development activities like conferences and skills courses.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
