Work Schedule
100% FTE, Days. Shift start times between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, with every other weekend required. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.
About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Room Service Line Cook to:
- Follow all UW Health guidelines and policies regarding food safety and sanitation.
- Train and orient new staff members.
- Act as an effective leader for the Culinary Services Department and the organization.
- Prepare large volumes of food with a high level of complexity, variety, and quality.
- Assess quality and condition of ingredients used in food production and prepare food production reports and documentation.
Responsibilities
Additional components of compensation may include:
- Evening or night shift differential
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- A Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or Nutrition preferred
- 3 years food service, hospitality, or customer service experience required
- 6 months leadership experience preferred
- SERV Safe Certification required within three (3) months of obtaining position required
