Lead Room Service Expeditor

About the role

Oversees room service operations and daily functions of cooks, tray line and ware washing staff. Ensures accuracy, quality and timeliness of all patient trays. Ensures staff performs assigned duties in accordance with established procedures and sanitation standards.

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $17.66 – $19.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position with a 1.75 2nd shift differential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of kitchen work experience
• Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (within 1 year of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months vocational training in cooking techniques and methods
• Approximately 1 year progressively more responsible experience to become familiar with supervisory responsibilities and departmental/Medical Center procedures and operations
