About the role
IES Residential, Inc. is seeking a Lead Residential Electrician to oversee and perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and service work. The ideal candidate must have strong residential experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential electrical installations and service work
- Supervise and support apprentice/helper electricians
- Read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes
- Maintain safe, clean job sites and professional customer communication
Requirements
- Specific Qualifications:
- 2-3 years residential electrical experience
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and safety practices
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Climb ladders; work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periods
