Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages the planning, scheduling, MRO, and CBM personnel for the site
- Drive and conduct Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis across the plant
- Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies within Veolia's corporate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Define, track, and report on plant reliability KPIs: Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Planned Maintenance Percentage (PMP)
- Monitor and track key equipment reliability strategies, such as condition monitoring, equipment mapping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and visual inspections
- Lead the implementation of predictive technologies, including vibration analysis, ultrasonic analysis, thermography, PdMA, oil analysis, corrosion detection, and dissolved gas analysis
- Perform & document equipment criticality analysis in support of an effective critical spares strategy
- Lead technical incident investigations through Root Cause Analysis (Cause Mapping/Fault Free Diagram/5Whys/Cost Benefit Analysis) and implementation of recommended solutions
- Analyze data to identify reliability trends, forecast risks, and drive improvements in equipment uptime, cost, and safety
- Support in establishing maintenance job plans including shutdowns/outages
- Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues across multiple production lines working cross functionally with operations, engineering, maintenance, etc.
- Develop, write, and review new process documentation
- Champion and lead the plant's shift toward digitization, owning the implementation of digital reliability tools and technologies
- Lead capital projects aimed at enhancing reliability
- Develop and implement a lubrication program effectiveness and the hydraulics improvement plan
- Support in developing the Asset Register and Hierarchies
Qualifications
- B.S Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
- Computer literate with MS Office, Google, and similar software
- Good communication, interpretation, and active listening skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required
- 7+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer preferred
- Possession of a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (or similar) certification, such as MMP, CMRP, or CRE preferred
- Possesses working knowledge of CMMS and data analytics preferred
- High motivated, dynamic, and self-disciplined individual with strong technical competence and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Leverage lean manufacturing experience preferred
