Lead Registration Associate
Responsibilities
- Ensures a smooth patient flow, quality registration, maximum Point of Service patient collections, and outstanding customer service in his/her area of responsibility.
- Covers break and lunch times to ensure coverage needs are met and applicable employees receive a lunch break.
- Aids the Supervisor in managing fluctuations in volume by requesting reinforcements if necessary and flexing staff if needed to meet productivity expectations.
- Knowledgeable about all duties within the Department he/she leads and serves as a resource for other employees on policies/procedures.
- Takes the lead in assuring compliance and completion of all daily duties within the department under the Supervisor's direction.
- Sets the example in exemplary customer service and overall conduct, relating well to patients, visitors, physicians, other departments, management, employees in own department, etc.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Extensive knowledge of Patient Access required, Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal & organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
- Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Good analytical & problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple demands and function well under pressure.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.52 to $25.85. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
