About the role
Crestwood Crossing Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment—balancing exam room care, client communication, hands-on procedural support, and leadership of daily team workflow.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Assist in surgery
- Perform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Identify patient concerns and support efficient case management across the hospital
- Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
Schedule
Full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Saturday. Saturdays on rotation.
Compensation
Compensation: $21–$23 per hour, for each hour worked

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set
- 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Oklahoma
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Radiology positioning and safety protocols
- Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
- Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
- Accurate medical record documentation
- Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques
- Client education and communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Effective teamwork and professional communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
- Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply
