About the role

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a pet adoption center. Oversee the placement of pets into new homes, coordinate with local shelters, and maintain a welcoming environment for both pets and potential adopters.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake and placement of pets
  • Coordinate with local shelters and rescue organizations
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for pets and adopters
  • Conduct regular training sessions for volunteers and staff
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase adoptions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in animal science, business administration, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in pet care or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Experience with pet adoption processes
  • Knowledge of animal behavior and welfare
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
