About the role
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a pet adoption center. Oversee the placement of pets into new homes, coordinate with local shelters, and maintain a welcoming environment for both pets and potential adopters.
Responsibilities
- Manage the intake and placement of pets
- Coordinate with local shelters and rescue organizations
- Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for pets and adopters
- Conduct regular training sessions for volunteers and staff
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase adoptions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, business administration, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in pet care or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Experience with pet adoption processes
- Knowledge of animal behavior and welfare
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
