Lead Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and support throughout each shift.
• Aid in coordinating daily nursing operations to ensure quality resident care and appropriate staffing coverage.
• Maintain monitoring of resident conditions, respond to changes in status, and communicate concerns to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Assist with orienting and training new nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations governing long-term care.
