Lead Registered Dental Assistant

About the role

The Lead Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and mentorship to fellow dental assistants. As a partner to JWCH and an organizer of the dental department, the Lead RDA supports dental care delivery by assisting in the performance of dental procedures and carrying out the day-to-day operations of the back office.

Responsibilities

• Supports dentist(s) during patient procedures through 4 handed dentistry and supervises other dental assistants.
• Leads Dental Assistants through daily functions, including suggestions to Dental Manager for training modifications or further training of Dental Assist
