About the role

We are hiring a Lead Recruiting Partner to own and deliver critical hiring across Pagaya’s U.S. business, with a primary focus on our NYC-based teams spanning Partnerships, Sales, Product, Structured Finance, Risk, Capital Markets, and G&A.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for priority, highly technical, and sometimes confidential U.S.-based roles up to Senior Director level, balancing urgency with an uncompromising quality bar.
  • Leverage internal networks, cultivate relationships across industry communities, attend conferences, and build long-term passive pipelines to support proactive succession planning and introduce bar-raising talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior executives, guiding talent decisions using objective market intelligence, compensation analytics, and structured interview design.
  • Maintain flawless Greenhouse ATS hygiene daily, ensuring absolute data compliance and workflow transparency.
  • Packaging these insights into crisp weekly status reports for stakeholders and senior leadership to drive transparency and remove alignment bottlenecks.
  • Partner with tech and operations teams to adopt, test, and pilot cutting-edge sourcing automations and AI-driven platforms, intentionally converting saved manual hours into hyper-targeted human outreach and compressed hiring cycles.
  • Partner closely with global recruiting peers and broader People teams (across the U.S. and Israel) to collaborate on compensation benchmarking, talent planning, and internal mobility strategies.
  • Continually elevate Pagaya's employer brand, market positioning, and candidate pitch, ensuring our messaging remains compelling and clearly differentiates our unique value proposition in a fast-paced fintech landscape.
  • Bring real-time talent insights and learnings from the market to provide competitive insights and strategic equity/compensation structuring to successfully close candidates.
  • Help design and expand our internship program and early-career talent acquisition initiatives, playing an active role in mentoring and developing talent acquisition team members within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a Fintech, Consumer Lending, Investment Banking, or fast-growing, tech-forward environment.
  • Sourcing Capability & Tech Fluency: Demonstrated expertise mapping highly technical target markets with a strong interest in utilizing advanced tech stacks, automation tools, and AI sourcing platforms to systematically optimize candidate funnels.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: High professional maturity with a proven track record of navigating shifting business priorities, complex organizational scales, and rapid structural pivots calmly and effectively.
  • Systems Expertise: Advanced command of Greenhouse ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools, and data analytics tools, paired with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Market Acumen: Deep knowledge of the New York City and broader U.S. talent markets, including shifting compensation trends, equity structures, and competitive dynamics.
  • Execution & Value Alignment: A self-directed professional who pairs high-level strategic vision with rigorous, autonomous execution. Strong commitment to learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement—fully aligned with Pagaya’s core values.
