Lead Recruiter

About the role

This role is primarily responsible for leading and driving thought leadership across the TA team, in particular IT/Tech. Operating as a player coach, you will support the team across internal client relationship management, candidate sourcing strategies, and ensuring best hiring practices. This individual assesses qualifications, manages the job offer process and negotiations, and secures on-boarding process completion. This role will also assign tasks to support staff, including Sourcing Consultants and Recruiting Coordinators. You will typically handle mid-Manager or Professional roles up to Director-level.

Responsibilities include coaching the team (as well as managing your own requisition load), developing overall recruiting strategy, identifying key resources for talent, sourcing and recruiting top talent, and leading intake meetings with business partners. You will also screen and assess candidates, negotiate and market offers, and execute the pre-employment process and day-one on-boarding.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a player coach, carrying a requisition load while advising, coaching, and leading other recruiters
• Partner with management on team strategy, particularly supporting the Technology organization and addressing hiring plans
• Source potential talent by meeting with business partners to verify job profiles and specifications
• Seek out potential candidates using innovative methods and follow the recruiting process from start to finish
• Evaluate candidate profiles and resumes; represent the company to candidates through detailed phone screens and evaluations
• Present candidates to Hiring Managers via slate submittal process
• Explore new recruitment methods and share best practices across the team
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates to generate a high-volume, high-quality pipeline under tight timelines
• Consult business partners on candidate assessment and interview processes, including developing interview tools and guides
• Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers regarding recruiting and succession planning processes
• Advise hiring managers on job postings and marketing strategies while ensuring compliance with employment policies
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners to create effective strategies supporting the business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
• 7 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including at least 1 year of corporate recruiting or equivalent leadership experience
• 5 years of experience with candidate search techniques (e.g., resume mining, cold-calling, name generation)
• 5 years of experience with behavioral interviewing
• 5 years of experience recruiting hourly and/or salaried roles
• 5 years of experience using an applicant tracking system
• 3 years of experience sourcing through candidate social networking tools

Pay

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $143,600.00 annually. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
