Lead React Native Engineer

About the role

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Lead React Native Engineer for a fully remote position with minimal travel. This role is part of a dynamic team focused on scalable UI and API design, and building robust applications that interface with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and maintainable application architectures
• Build and deploy with cloud-hosted CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain application analytics
• Build Authentication and protected applications
• Build QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and features
• Give thorough status updates, groom agile stories, and estimate work

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on large development projects using React Native and related tools
• 3+ years of experience using TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience building robust unit tests and component tests using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• 5+ years of experience developing in an Agile project management environment
• Strong understanding of component lifecycles and hooks in React 17+
• Understanding of State Management tools like Redux, Context, and RTK Query, and the different uses/purposes of each
• Experience working within a codebase that utilizes code quality enforcement tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Sonarqube
• Experience leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience building and deploying with cloud-hosted CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Experience in building scalable and maintainable application architectures
• Experience in leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience in building and maintaining application analytics
• Experience working in scaled mobile architectures like Monorepos, and utilizing shared internal libraries
• Love learning and growing as much as delivering high quality products and features

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience building applications that interface with REST APIs
• Understanding of scalable UI development patterns
• Understanding of scalable API development patterns
• Experience giving thorough status updates, grooming agile stories, and estimating work
• Experience working with others, enjoying collaboration, and mentoring others
