LEAD RADIATION THERAPIST
About the role
The Lead Radiation Therapist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained across the department. This position acts as a critical connector between various teams including Physicians, Physicists, Dosimetrists, and Therapy staff, facilitating seamless coordination for all treatment procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain uniformity across different centers
- Absorb and implement the highest standards throughout the department
- Assess competencies to ensure departmental standards are consistently met
- Set the professional standard for Radiation Therapists and Senior Radiation Therapists
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state of Florida
- Minimum Experience Required: 5 years of technical excellence working as a Radiation Therapist
- Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required: Demonstrated ongoing leadership skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $43.92 - $67.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary based on location and other job-related factors.
