Lead Quality Inspector (Day Shift)

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of Quality Inspectors in their day to day operations, including creating rotations, monitoring breaks and lunches, and providing low level coaching
• Escalate concerns to Quality Inspection Management that are not being properly resolved in your immediate work area
• Aid Quality Supervisor with rework and inspection life cycle management
• Understand current Production Quality standards and determine if ongoing production meets those standards
• Prepare and lead daily Quality meetings with Quality Inspection Management
• Communicate emerging and trending quality issues to prevent negative impact to the factory
• Collaborate closely with other Tesla cross-functional teams such as; Planning Teams, Quality Engineers, PC Teams, etc.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in an automotive production or manufacturing quality assurance environment
• Ability to perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting of Quality issues that will be referenced by technicians, engineers and management
• Experience with measurement and inspection tools is a plus
• Ability to determine potential countermeasure solutions against failed inspections
• Ability to lift and walk with objects up to 20 pounds in weight
