Role Description

UST is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to lead QA activities for a designated domain, including planning and driving in-sprint testing, automation execution, and release sign-off. Responsibilities include designing and developing automation scripts using Selenium (Java)/Playwright (Typescript), Appium, and REST API frameworks, as well as using AI-assisted testing solutions to accelerate testing tasks.

What You Need

  • Hands-on QE leadership - Strong: 5-6 years Automation: Selenium / Playwright, REST API – Strong
  • Hands-on: 4-6 years Programming Language: Java / C# / Python / Typescript-Strong hands-on 3-5 years SQL knowledge- Strong Hands-on: 3-5 years
  • AI driven quality insights - Intermediate: 1-2 years Gitlab, CI/CD tools - Expert: 2-4 years
  • Manual Testing - Expert: 4-6 years Test Management tools: JIRA, Qtest - Expert: 3-5 years
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills- strong

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below. Benefits include a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and eligibility for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Full-time employees may also purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico. Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
