About the role
The Lead Quality Control Engineer will oversee the quality control processes within the manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Train and mentor team members on quality control best practices
- Prepare and present quality control reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control engineering
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
