Job Requirements

• At least 2 years in metal manufacturing.
• Experience in welding (MIG or resistance preferred) and general fabrication
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical instructions
• Comfort working with both hand tools and powered equipment
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and measurements
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• A dependable, team-oriented work ethic
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn and operate equipment such as welders, brake presses, saws, grinders, and measuring tools
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification

Essential Job Function

• Lead the Sample Shop in building custom display units based on engineering drawings and customer specifications
• Interpret blueprints and translate them into high-quality prototypes
• Set up and operate a variety of shop equipment, including welding and fabrication tools
• Possess a safety-first mindset and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products as needed
