Lead Propulsion Systems Engineer – Modeling & Simulation
What’s the Job?
Build, debug, refine, and maintain steady state and transient thermal models using NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation)
Develop and support NPSS customer models for gas turbine engines
Perform requirements analysis and decomposition throughout product development lifecycle (NPI)
Generate technical reports and present findings to leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engine definition, performance, and operability
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in gas turbine engine Performance & Operability modeling and analysis
- Extensive experience developing thermodynamic models using NPSS (preferred 5+ years)
- Strong background in steady state and transient modeling (combined experience 7+ years)
- U.S. Citizenship required
