Responsibilities

  • Determines and arranges project management, technical services, and external resources for the project.
  • Collaborates with the team (client, design team, and other consultants, and contractors) and all stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Communicates strategies to the team and demonstrates Mace's value of Safety First by exhibiting safety behaviors and using safety moments.
  • Provides subject matter knowledge to support the team and broader Mace projects.
  • Procures and manages design and consultant teams and project stakeholders to ensure project completion.
  • Produces design and authority programmes, integrating them with procurement and delivery programs.
  • Manages project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery and addressing risks and challenges.
  • Leads and manages project teams and stakeholders to meet strategic KPIs.
  • Prepares and updates project plans, keeping them relevant throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinates and communicates with all project stakeholders, ensuring responsibility and standard documentation.
  • Takes ownership of project changes, tracking them and formalizing them within agreed timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing medium-sized projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
  • Advanced stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong budgeting, commercial, and financial management skills, including oversight of internal budgets and fees.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and related functions.
  • Sound knowledge of HSE regulations and sector-specific compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and develop teams, providing direction and fostering an inclusive, high-performance environment.
  • Education in construction, engineering, project management, or a related field, with relevant technical certifications.
