Lead Production Technician, Intelligence Systems
About the role
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company dedicated to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. The Lead Production Technician will play a key role in supporting Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS), which develops and deploys cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Production Manager and lead a team of technicians in producing UAS for strategic military and commercial customers
- Apply higher-level knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
- Utilize hand tools, assembly tooling, and general manufacturing equipment
- Follow documented build instructions and ensure safety procedures are followed
- Prioritize work activities, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities, providing feedback on process improvements
- Complete daily transactions in production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA, SQL, Tableau)
- Avoidance of multiple responsibilities, such as training and support for new operators
- Complete certification training and maintain required certifications
- Maintain a positive and collaborative team culture
- Work a regular and predictable schedule
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in production-oriented manufacturing or electro-mechanical technician fields
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP and MES systems (NetSuite, JIRA, SQL, Tableau)
- A full understanding of the product life cycle, lean manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs)
- Ability to interpret technical documentation
- Extremely reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Pay
US Hourly Range: $32 - $42 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
