Lead Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate mixer and extruder to produce consistent dough for White Castle buns
• Make quality control inspections of the entire production process
• Direct production work and train employees on equipment procedures and workplace health & safety procedures
• Operate packaging machines and palletizer to bag and box baked product
• Perform housekeeping duties and attend training classes
• Ensure adherence to plant’s security and safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Previous training and experience in the baking industry preferred
• Knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, GMPs, and FDA regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. assisted and operate a forklift

• Knowledge of production, sanitation, quality, and safety
• Ability to diagnose production problems and work schedules
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of the organization

$27.40 hourly

Schedule

• 2nd Shift Hours: 1pm - 11pm
• 3rd Shift Hours: 9PM - 8AM
