About the Role

The Lead Product Manager will be a key member of the Digital & Technology team, responsible for managing the strategic direction of technology and digital programs for Disney Cruise Line’s Onboard Guest Fulfillment Systems. This role involves collaborating with leadership to establish strategies across the latest technologies, working with multiple products, teams, and interdisciplinary leaders to bring strategies to market that support business opportunities and enhance the Guest experience. The Lead Product Manager will develop business and product strategies and implement tactics that create business opportunities aligning with the digital and technology roadmap themes for Disney Cruise Line.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and team lead, solving complex problems and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Gather requirements for all aspects of a project, collaborating with impacted teams including creative and technology for agreement.
  • Drive implementation of a business digital and technology roadmap by ensuring development teams understand product goals and priorities.
  • Document features by translating product concepts into user stories, epics, and other appropriate product deliverables.
  • Act as the primary representative for product management in daily activities related to product/enhancement roll-out.
  • Support defect triage activities by working with technical, creative, and production teams to identify causes through resolution.
  • Communicate with partners at multiple levels across Digital & Technology and the broader Disney organization through various mediums.
  • Assist in creating and implementing a strategy to build a Product-Centric team for Cast and Crew-facing applications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of product management experience in digital customer experience for a global or national brand(s), working with technology, design, project management, business, and user experience teams.
  • Ability to use hard data to form assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Experience presenting product performance and program success.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to guide ideas into action and take personal initiative.
  • Experience collaborating and achieving results through partnerships, capable of interacting at all leadership levels.
  • Experience identifying technical, user, and business issues in an organization.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, or comparable field of study) and/or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner.
  • Experience with data, data science, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $148,300.00–$198,800.00 per year in Florida and $155,700.00–$208,700.00 per year in California, based on a 40-hour work week. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Schedule

The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.
