Lead Product Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by internal customers as well as external customers (where relevant).
  • Propose and refine product strategies that align with the goals of Penn Medicine and address the specific needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market research, and strategic alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and collaboration, ensuring alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Estimate resource requirements and establish realistic timelines for product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Evaluate potential vendors and assess build/buy options to support product development as necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall product roadmap for PennDnA, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational objectives and initiatives.
  • Build relationships with PennDnA colleagues, including senior leaders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services that meet user needs and organizational standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Contribute to a culture of performance excellence. Actively seeks and applies feedback from others to strengthen capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, or other relevant field is required.
  • 5+ years technical product management or equivalent experience is required.
  • Masters degree in MBA, Data Science, or other relevant field is preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare data and analytics or AI is preferred.
