About the role

As a Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for driving the design vision and user experience for our product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure that the product meets the needs of our users and aligns with our company’s goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define and iterate on product features and designs.
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and visual designs that effectively communicate product concepts and user flows.
• Ensure consistency across all touchpoints and maintain alignment with brand guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven ability to lead design initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience working with remote teams and managing distributed design processes.

Qualifications

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.

Skills

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
