Lead - Procurement Systems

About the role

Freshworks is looking for a Lead - Procurement Systems to join the Procurement Operations team. You will be responsible for administration, configuration, and maintenance of the systems and tools managed by the Procurement team. As the expert in procurement systems, you are also responsible for developing and communicating training for new tools or changes to existing ones. Your technical expertise will impact cross-functional teams across the enterprise to standardize procurement requirements, help develop simple solutions for efficient processes designed for scale, and manage a best-in-class suite of Source to Pay products. Supporting various systems and business processes will require establishing key partnerships across the organization, such as IT.

The successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a collaborative, resourceful, and independent self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Build cross-functional partnerships across Freshworks to drive procurement systems improvements and successful implementations.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of system design and functionality by identifying potential issues and offering creative solutions and alternatives.
• Effectively communicate status updates and risk assessments to the management team.
• Perform procurement system administration, configuration, and maintenance.
• Manage data and system migrations.
• Support activities related to procurement system implementation and improvement.
• Assess the training needs of end users, develop/enhance training materials, and deliver effective training programs.
• Build strong and productive working relationships with stakeholders and business partners.

Requirements

• Experience implementing, administering, and integrating SaaS software required.
• Proven interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and implement ideas in a dynamic, changing environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement Systems Management, Source to Pay Process Design, or system implementation.
• Experience with Zip is a plus.
• Experience in the design and deployment of new systems and processes at scale with an emphasis on continuous process improvement.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
