About the role
The Early Care & Education Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for leading a team of teachers and assistants in a preschool setting. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of teachers and assistants in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-3 years old.
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports learning through play and exploration.
- Assess children's developmental progress and provide feedback to parents and other staff members.
- Collaborate with families to ensure consistent communication and support for child development.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children and staff.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least two years of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Valid Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) fingerprint clearance card.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with technology and digital tools used in early childhood education.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
