About the role

The Early Care & Education Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for leading a team of teachers and assistants in a preschool setting. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of teachers and assistants in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-3 years old.
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports learning through play and exploration.
• Assess children's developmental progress and provide feedback to parents and other staff members.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistent communication and support for child development.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children and staff.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Valid Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) fingerprint clearance card.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with technology and digital tools used in early childhood education.

Pay
