About This Role

Golden Path Academy in Stephenson, VA is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher (2's) to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $14 – $16/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Become a part of an extraordinary team!
• Deliver exceptional developmental care and supervision to our children through the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, setting a positive example of childcare best practices.
• Create and implement engaging lesson plans
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Monitor individual child development and prepare bi-annual progress reports
• Foster positive relationships with parents
• Stay connected with parents daily through our school's communication app

Requirements

• Age 18 or older
• Completion of a high school program or equivalent
• Must meet one of the following:
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
• Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA
• Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training
• Have 48 semester hours of college credit, including 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience
