Lead Preschool Teacher
About the role
Lead daily classroom routines for a 3-year-old preschool classroom.
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Foster children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Create a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Guide and mentor assistant teachers while promoting teamwork
- Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and classroom activities
- Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC licensing requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required
- Previous preschool classroom teaching experience preferred
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Qualifications
- Must meet New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
