Lead Preschool Teacher

About This Role

Treehouse Academy LLC in Edgerton, WI is seeking a qualified Lead Preschool Teacher to work with Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

You'll provide nurturing and care in a safe and stimulating environment, helping little ones develop social and emotional skills. Your responsibilities include:

• Create a warm and engaging environment
• Implement a well-structured curriculum
• Promote the social and emotional growth of young students
• Assist with daily needs such as feeding and diapering
• Observe and document each child's progress
• Communicate effectively with parents

To succeed, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with toddlers or young children, and a caring and patient personality, along with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

To become a preschool teacher in our daycare, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications include:

• Completion of early childhood education courses (encouraged but not required)
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (not required)
• Experience working with toddlers or young children (a plus)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• A background check
• Completion of early childhood education courses (additional requirement)

Essential qualities include a caring and patient personality, excellent communication skills, imagination to create engaging activities, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each child.

Additional desirable traits include a kind and empathetic nature, a sense of humor, and a genuine love for working with young children.
