Responsibilities
- Organizing and coordinating activities of the sleep center and staff personnel in order to ensure quality patient care
- Teaching technologists and physicians the technical aspects of sleep studies
- Providing clinical care services as needed
Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Associates Degree in Health Services field Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years comprehensive experience in a sleep diagnostic laboratory servicing all referral types, adults and children, and prior experience in teaching, supervision or as coordinator Required
- Prior experience in teaching, supervision or as coordinator Required
Licenses and Certifications
- BRPT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Registry by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Preferred
