Lead Pipefitter

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure crews have the necessary equipment, materials, and information.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Install and oversee installation of: Mechanical piping systems, Process piping, Carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, HDPE, and copper piping, Valves, pumps, fittings, and piping supports.
• Verify pipe alignment, elevations, and grades.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Monitor crew productivity and maintain daily production goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience installing mechanical piping systems, preferably on water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial facilities, or heavy civil projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Foreman or Leadman.
• Experience installing and coordinating: Process piping, Mechanical piping, Above-ground piping systems, Pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment.
• Valid Driver License
