Lead Pharmacy Technician - Full Time, Day Shift

Role Overview: The Pharmacy Technician assists in providing pharmaceutical services under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, leading lower-level technicians and coordinating department operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and dispense complex medications, including chemotherapy and infusions, ensuring accuracy and safety.Train and mentor new technicians, serving as a resource for procedures, calculations, and equipment operation.Manage pharmacy charges, maintain accurate patient and medication data, and process medication orders and labels.Oversee intravenous medication preparation, compounding, and delivery to nursing units.Monitor supply inventory, stock levels, and medication storage, ensuring proper rotation and ordering.Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting department efficiency and safety. Qualifications & Skills State Pharmacy Technician license required.Preferred: Associate’s/Technical Degree, three years of technical experience, and two years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.Certification from the Pharmaceutical Technician Board is preferred.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to train others are essential.
